I've always loved giving gifts. It's definitely my love language. I'm not the best at receiving them, but I absolutely love the whole process of creating the perfect gift; thinking of something meaningful, wrapping it beautifully, and making sure it's as special on the outside as it is on the inside.

Every Christmas, I choose a different theme for my family's presents. One year it was kraft brown paper tied with rich red velvet ribbon. The next, crisp white wrapping paired with royal green velvet ribbon, finished with handmade white clay gingerbread gift tags, each one debossed with their name. Another year, I wrapped everything in kraft paper and created personalised "Special Delivery from Santa" labels, proudly declaring each recipient was on the Nice List. I can't help myself; I have to get creative.

Over the years, people have started to notice how much I enjoy it. One Christmas, a colleague brought all of her presents into the office just so I could wrap them because she knew I'd genuinely love doing it. Another colleague asked me to create a bespoke gift hamper for their wife for Mother's Day (or possibly Easter; I can't quite remember which!). Then someone else asked me to put together a Christmas hamper for their partner.

Most recently, a friend bought one of my SAY IT IN WORDS beaded bracelets and asked if I could create a beautiful gift box around it to ask someone to become their child's godparent. After I'd finished, she looked at me and said, "This needs to be your job." She could see how much passion and joy I put into every little detail and told me it should become part of my next chapter.

The more I thought about it, the more it made sense.

So, alongside the next chapter, I'm introducing the gift library; still keeping with my book and chapter theme. Over the coming months, I'll be creating a collection of thoughtfully curated ready-made gift boxes, perfect for life's special moments.

But if you're looking for something completely personal, I'd love to help. Whether it's a birthday, a new baby, a thank you, a "will you be my bridesmaid?", or simply a thoughtful surprise for someone you love, you can hire me to be your very own personal gift shopper and stylist.

If that sounds like something you'd love, I'd be honoured to create something truly special for you. Get in touch below.
