the BIG chop
Share
On Saturday 4th April I went to my hairdressers Kin & Co and chopped off my hair.

Leading up to the day, I felt a bit nervous; I wasn’t sure short hair would suit me. But I kept thinking about all the children who don’t have hair, whether due to medical treatment or hair loss conditions. In the end, it didn’t matter anymore. I didn’t care about having short hair, because it meant someone else could have hair instead.

Now that it’s done, I feel really proud of myself. Knowing that someone out there will wear a wig, carefully made by a specialist just for them, and that it might bring a smile to their face makes it all worthwhile.

As of today I have raised £90.00 plus £22.50 in Gift Aid, if you would like to donate you can go here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/thenextchapter-thebigchop
